Typefounders and Printers in Italy from Bodoni’s death to the foundation of Augusta company in Turin.
An excursus on Eighteenth Century typography in Italy based upon an analysis of the type specimens issued by the foundries and printers. It is accompanied by a research into the technical development of the graphic arts (type design and manufacturing, typesetting and printing).
